ArcelorMittal Europe AGORA delegation discusses X-Roll Oil Bearing

The 35 members of ArcelorMittal came from several plants and locations in Europe, for example Hot Strip Mill in Aviles (Spain) or Tandem Cold Rolling Mill Bremen (Germany).
Next to a productive exchange between ArcelorMittal Europe and SMS group it was also an opportunity to present new products, possible upgrades and modernizations and our service portfolio to ArcelorMittal. Amongst others SMS group experts presented, chock repair by electric arc wire spraying, mill stand 3-D-measurement and refurbishment, as well as our new development X-Roll® CRC – Convection Roll Cooling.
During a workshop tour, ArcelorMittal could get an insight in the high quality of our flexible production and its performance, which is the heart of our SMS location in Hilchenbach.
Mr. Sigurd Vanrysselberghe, CTO of ArcelorMittal Europe summarized the visit: “Thank you for the perfect visit, all participants are very happy and impressed”
