40th German Steel Construction Day is postponed

The 40th German Steel Construction Day will not take place in Bremen on 1 and 2 October 2020 as planned. In view of the corona pandemic, the German Steel Construction Association has decided to postpone the event until 2022. The new venue is Berlin.
"The decision is the right one, even though it was not taken lightly. The health of our participants, speakers and exhibitors has top priority," emphasizes Reiner Temme, President of the German Steel Construction Association.
The big anniversary celebration will be held in Berlin on 29 and 30 September 2022. The German Steel Construction Day takes place every two years in different federal states and has been the unmistakable highlight of the industry since 1948.
All other association activities will take place as usual. "Workshops and seminars, working committees and professional associations will be offered as web conferences for the duration of the Corona pandemic", says Gregor Machura, Managing Director of bauforumstahl e.V.
