Guangdong Shaoguan Iron & Steel commissiones new combined wire rod

The Chinese iron and steel producer Guangdong Shaoguan Iron and Steel Group Company
Ltd. has successful commissioned its brand new combined wire rod and BIC line
incorporating a RSB® 300++/4 in 5.0 design of Friedrich KOCKS GmbH & Co KG, Germany.
The RSB® 300++/4 operates as finishing unit for the production of BIC within a dimensional
range from Ø 15.0 up to Ø 50.0 mm and supplies as pre-finisher all feeders for the wire rod
line. Thanks to the remote control system, size changes can apply within a billet gap and
stand changes can be done within max. five minutes due to the advanced stand quick
change design.
