New date for wire and Tube in Düsseldorf

by Dagmar Dieterle

This is Messe Düsseldorf's timely response to the recently communicated change in the industry highlights. This was agreed in consultation with all the partners involved in order to counteract the increasingly dynamic developments regarding the possible spread of the corona virus.

"It is very important for us to inform you of this new date as soon as possible in order to ensure planning security for the entire industry and its partners," says Wolfram N. Diener, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, and adds: "Our customers and partners can rely on us to act calmly and with full responsibility even in difficult situations.

Existing contracts with Messe Düsseldorf will remain valid for the new date, and visitor tickets already purchased will also remain valid. A total of around 2,600 exhibitors in 15 exhibition halls are expected to present the latest machinery and equipment for wire and tube production, processing and finishing, end products, products and services.

The Düsseldorf hotel industry is also sending out an important signal through its umbrella organisation DEHOGA (German Hotel and Restaurant Industry Association): "We appeal to our members and the entire industry to be flexible when exhibitors and visitors change their reservations. The Düsseldorf trade fairs such as wire and Tube play an enormously important role for the city, the hotel industry and the catering trade. It would be counterproductive not to be accommodating here", say DEHOGA representatives Giuseppe Saitta (Chairman of the Düsseldorf/Rhine-County District Group Neuss) and Rolf D. Steinert (Düsseldorf/Rhine-County District Hotels and Tourism Group Neuss) in unison.
